Why choose to work with a Registered Dietitian?
With so much information floating around with respect to nutrition and diet it can be difficult to sort through what is best for your specific nutritional needs and requirements. Dietitians are regulated health care professionals who work to simplify the science of nutrition. Whether you are trying to lose weight, lower your cholesterol or improve your fitness, building a good relationship with food and healthy habits are the keys to success.
FAQ: Do employee health benefits cover Dietitian Services? Yes! Many employee health benefits cover dietitian services, and to confirm your coverage, we recommend calling the number behind your benefits card and asking for the amount for dietitian or nutritionist services. After each session, a receipt with the dietitian’s licence/registration information is provided.

MEET
Jennifer Donnelly-Vanderloo, RD
Jennifer Donnelly-Vanderloo graduated from Western University with a Master’s Degree in Food and Nutrition.
The majority of Jennifer’s career has been spent providing nutritional care to residents in long-term care facilities. Her nutrition interventions helped residents increase their strength, heal pressure injuries and improve their quality of life.
After observing the pandemic's impact on residents, Jennifer realized that a preventative nutrition care approach could significantly improve the skin integrity, muscular strength, bone health, and digestive health of older adults. This, in turn, could help them live healthier and happier lives at home.
